First of all, I have been doing a terrible job of updating this. I still haven't finished my trip recap of Cuba, yes the trip I took two months ago, and I didn't even gather footage from my extended weekend in Las Vegas and San Diego. Neither of those compare to my biggest blunder yet. Right now I'm using my iPhone to capture everything. I have been looking to buy a camera, but just haven't been able to commit to one. Anyway, after an attempt to back up all my photos to Google Photos, because I literally had 0 space on my phone, I accidentally deleted all of my photos and videos from Miami and the Bahamas. Most of them! Gone! I was upset for a second, but realized that this just means I need to go again! :) Here are a couple of pictures that I saved to my computer before my oopise:
We flew to Miami and arrived early morning. After a boozy brunch (with AMAZING service) at The Social Club, we made our way to The Miami International Traveler's Hostel to stay the night. If your on a budget or travel solo, I highly suggest you utilize hostels! We stayed a few blocks from South Beach in a small private studio (kitchen and living room included) for $100. Even though we were staying in a private room, we were still able to utilize what the hostel had to offer and went on a party bus to Nikki Beach for $20. It was hard to leave Miami so soon after such a FUN day/night, but we were also excited for what was coming next. We took a 4 day, open bar cruise on the Norwegian Sky to the Bahamas. Listen, I don't know if it was because it was Spring Break or what, but it was LIT! I had the time of my life! Unlimited drinks and food, sun, beautiful water and dancing (so. much. dancing), what more could you ask for?! We stopped at Freeport and Nassau. We were unable to get to Great Stirrup Cay because of weather. I enjoyed the extra day in Nassau, so it was fine with me. Total basic costs included $280 for the flight, $630 for the cruise, and $100 for the room in Miami. Most of the food and drink was already paid for, so spent very little once I was there. I can't wait to visit the Bahamas again! I had such an amazing time!
I have always wanted to travel and after years of aspiring, I am finally able to see the world! Join me as I explore, learn, discover and most importantly, LIVE!
